 How can foreign policy be adapted to advance democracy and Human Rights in different regions? How can we better achieve a value-based global consensus that reflects the needs and expectations of citizens in several regions, without imposing a one-size-fits-all democracy? Session design by RFK Center for Justice and Human Rights

A panel of political leaders and civill society representatives will review the links between democracy, human rights and foreign policy?

Panelists: Kjell Magne Bondevik, Prime Minister of Norway (997-2000, 2001-2005), Club de Madrid Member; Rafendi Djamin, representative of Indonesia, ASEAN, Intergovernmental Commision on Human Rights; Mon Ibrahim, Founder and President, Mo Ibrahim Foundation; Fran La Rue, Director of RFK Center European Operations.
