Women from Uganda sing on the 10th Anniversary of UNSCR 1325

During the celebrations in November 2010 to mark 10 years of the UNSCR, Isis-Women's International Cross Cultural Exchange (Isis-WICCE) commissioned a team of local artists in Uganda to compose a UNSCR 1325 theme song to commemorate the day.

This theme song has remained part of the colourful Isis-WICCE annual Peace Expositions that link grassroots women with the policy makers in critical dialogues on policies. Students of St Theresa Girls Senior Secondary School in Kasese district, western Uganda presented the song at the 2011 Peace Expositions.
