Selamawit Gebreyohannes, Eritrean Women for Development Association

Selamawit Gebreyohannes graduated from the University of Asmara, Eritrea with a degree in law. Currently she resides in Kampala where she is a leading member of the Eritrean Society and is forming the Eritrean Women for Development Association, the first of its kind in Kampala.


Michaelet Menghestead, Eritrea Women for Development Association

Michaelet Menghestead is a Law graduate from the University of Asmara, Eritrea and currently resides in Kampala where she is co-founder of the Eritrean Women for Development Association, the first Eritrean women’s civil society coalition group in Kampala.  Michaelet was also active in Eritrean-Ethiopian peace talks in 2002.


 

Freselam Azmera, Eritrea Women´s Association

Freselam Azmera joined  Strategic Initiatve for Women in the Horn of Africa in October 2010 as Accountant.

Freselam holds an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, is a professionally qualified Accountant with great experience in financial accounting for almost four years.

She has previously worked with MUSA-AF EnterprisesCompany LTD as an accountant as well as Auditor General Office - Asmara as an Assistant auditor. She is member of G40 and Treasurer of Eritrean Women Association for Development based in Uganda.
