Extremism and violence hit Tunisia, France and Kuwait.

June 26, 2015

Club de Madrid condemns and deplores the terrorist attacks in which at least 27 people have died in a tourist resort in Tunisia and a man has been beheaded in a gas production plant in Saint Quentin-Fallavier, near Lyon, France. The shia community has also been stroke in Kwait during friday prayers.

Months after the attack against the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and the Bardo Museum that shocked the world, Tunisia and France returns to undergo more than just a terrorist attack, an attempt at intimidation and coercion to a whole society, to democratic values, human rights, freedom and dignity.

Extremism and violence have once again hit Tunisia and France but this attack is felt as their own by all democrats worldwide. The Club of Madrid, formed by 107 former presidents and heads of government democratically elected in 71 countries around the world shows its absolute rejection of this new crime and determination to provide answers that contribute to the fight against violence, extremism.
