What do we want future societies to be like? How should concepts such as inclusion, cohesion, sustainable growth and social development be included in the agendas that will shape the world in the next decades? What role should democracy and leadership play? The answers to these questions will be discussed in the next days in different forums in Washington and New York and the Club de Madrid will be involved in all of them to foster its “shared societies” perspective for the post-2015 development agenda, which argues that the inclusion of all segments of society, especially marginalized identity groups should serve as a foundation for the new global development goals.
