Club de Madrid's President encourages women to pursue their dreams and develop their talents

Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga was the first women ever to be elected President of Latvia. That was 1999. In 2013 she became the first female to be President of the Club de Madrid. As a pioneer and women's rights advocator she sends out a message to the "girls and women across the world" to offer them encouragement to overcome obstacles and remain true to their aspirations.
