Nacho Espinosa joined the Club de Madrid in 2004 where he is now Program Officer. He is currently coordinating The Shared Societies Project. Building a world safe for difference, a global initiative to provide arguments and tools for leadership action on social cohesion; some other project in which he has been involved in the Club de Madrid include in-country projects in Timor-Leste, Bolivia, Ecuador, Kosovo, and has coordinated exchange visits to share the Spanish democratic experience with Arab leaders. Mr. Espinosa was involved in the 2005 World Summit on Democracy and Terrorism and the First Global Forum on Leadership Action for Shared Societies in Rotterdam in 2008.


Nacho Espinosa is a political scientist with MA studies in Public Administration and Public Policy. In his professional career he has worked with the OSCE and UNDP as election observer and supervisor in Togo, Indonesia and Bosnia-Herzegovina; acted as researcher in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, was public policy consultant in Arthur Andersen; and more recently worked in Corporate Social Responsibility with a major Foundation. Born in 1972 he is a trained skipper and currently lives in Madrid.

He speaks Spanish, English and French.
