Mariana Migliari

Mariana Migliari spent her early formative years in Brazil, England and The Netherlands. After reading Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent at Canterbury, in a dual programme with the London School of Economics, she went on to specialise in public policies in the field of education.

From 2000 to 2004, she worked at the Brazilian National Institute for Educational Studies and Research (under the Ministry of Education) where, in the last 3 years, she was the National Project Manager for the OECD Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Later on, she went on to work with the U.S Department of State’s Fulbright Programme and the Brazilian National Council of Education Secretariats, acting as an advisor on educational policies for Brazilian indigenous populations. In 2012, she moved to Spain and joined Club de Madrid as Internal Governance Officer.

Madrid has since become her home, where a moderate dose of bossa nova, feijoada, brigadeiros and caipirinhas keeps the “saudade” at bay.
