Funding for Club of Madrid programming comes from many different sources. Diego Hidalgo, a Spanish entrepreneur, public intellectual, visionary philanthropist, and Club of Madrid founder, generously provided significant seed capital. His contribution enabled the organisation to develop the capacity to work effectively which now allows it to diversify funding from a growing list of new partners and sponsors.
