Author, What Would Google Do?

Jeff Jarvis is the author of the new book, Public Parts: How Sharing in the Digital Age Improves the Way We Work and Live. He is also the author of What Would Google Do? Jarvis directs the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism. He was named one of the 100 world media leaders by the World Economic Forum at Davos. He writes about media, technology, privacy, and journalism at his blog, Buzzmachine.com, and occasionally for the Guardian. Jarvis was founding editor of Entertainment Weekly magazine; Sunday editor and associate publisher of the New York Daily News; TV critic for TV Guide and People, and a columnist on the San Francisco Examiner as well as president and creative director of Advance.net, the online arm of Advance Publications (Condé Nast).
